SIPSMITH GIN & POMEGRANATE JUICE...

"SOMETHING A LITTLE HARDER... ARTISAN GIN
 
London's Sipsmith distillary makes artisan London dry gin and barley vodka.
 
Their 300 litre pot still, called Prudence, is the first copper still in London for 189 years.
 
Here, master distiller Jared Brown sets a benchmark with Sipsmith 75.
 
1. Combine 45ml Sipsmith gin, juice of half a lemon, 15ml simple syrup or superfine sugar and a splash of pomegranate juice in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well.
 
2. Strain into a champagne flute. Fill with 100-125ml champagne. Garnish with five or six pomegranate seeds.
